Leeds Armley Mills Museum - Sunday 3rd June 2001
After visiting the Armouries we decided to call in at the Armley Mills Museum to see their pair of ploughing engines.
The museum bought the pair of BB1's in 1982 and one has been restored to a working condition, the sister engine has not been attended to yet, we look forward to the time when they are both able to work together again.
The museum is worth a visit and there is much more there than just steam engines, for more information visit the museum's pages on the Leeds City Council web site.
Here are a selection of pictures taken at the museum. Click an image to see a bigger version.
